Join the dynamic team at The Village at Rockville as a Utility Aide (Dishwasher) and play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents! You'll operate dish machines, hand wash oversized pots and pans, and assist with various kitchen tasks. Please note that this is a part-time evening shift.

Your contributions will ensure that our kitchen remains clean and sanitized, creating a safe environment for both staff and residents. In addition to dishwashing, you'll engage in transporting food products, stocking inventory, and managing waste. Requirements

• Experience : Previous experience in senior care is a plus, but not mandatory; we provide comprehensive training on our processes and culture.
• Commercial Cooking or Food Preparation : At least 1 year of experience in commercial cooking or healthcare food preparation preferred, but not required.
• Team Player Mentality : A collaborative spirit and willingness to support fellow team members.
• Customer Service Skills : Excellent customer service attitude to enhance the dining experience for our residents.
• Physical Stamina : Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs.)
• Attention to Detail : Strong focus on cleanliness and adherence to sanitation standards.
• Time Management : Ability to efficiently manage tasks in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Communication Skills : Basic verbal communication skills to follow instructions and collaborate effectively.
• Flexibility : Willingness to adapt to various tasks and shifts as needed.
• Safety Awareness : Understanding of food safety practices and procedures.
