Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Director of Property Management to oversee operations, leasing, and tenant relations. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. The ideal candidate is based in DFW with easy access to Garland, TX, and thrives in a team-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead finance, business development, and maintenance teams to ensure operational efficiency and tenant satisfaction.
- Market, lease, and negotiate agreements for available spaces.
- Oversee maintenance, repairs, and tenant improvements.
- Conduct regular property inspections and enforce quality standards.
- Manage rent collection, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Address tenant inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in commercial property management and leasing (non-apartment) in DFW.
- Strong negotiation, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Expertise in NNN leases, base year adjustments, and construction costs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (Propertyware.com is a plus).
- High integrity with excellent interpersonal skills.
