Director of Intake Services

Responsible for the coordination, monitoring and supervision of all inquiry, assessment and admission functions.

Overall responsibility for the assessment and disposition of all potential patients who call or come to the hospital; and for the process where by patients are admitted to the hospital. Responsible for monitoring and reporting types, numbers and locations of hospital beds; providing information regarding potential admissions or assessments; following up on non-admissions so as to improve operating procedures and processes; referring to alternate treatment resources when appropriate; supervising on and off campus assessment functions including all PET operations; participating in the hospital referral development team to enhance service and image within the community; managing all communications and departmental personnel.

Requirements

Minimum Education

MS in behavioral science

Minimum Work Experience 5yrs+ of managerial, supervisory responsibilities in an acute mental health care setting.

Required Licenses LPC, LCSW, LMFT, RN, PSYD, PHD or interim license.
