Position: Director of Business Development
As Director of Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating our strategic growth. A key member of our Leadership Team, you will design and implement business development initiatives that drive revenue and broaden market presence.

You will oversee our network of representatives and partners, while actively identifying new business channels, alliances, and customer segments within the manufacturing and sourcing ecosystem.

This role calls for both strategic vision and hands-on execution, backed by a deep understanding of manufacturing markets, customer pain points, and competitive dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying, evaluating, and executing new business opportunities, including partnerships, market expansion, and strategic alliances
  • Manage and optimize sales channels, including independent reps and internal accounts
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new business inquiries and strategic engagements
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Conduct market intelligence and competitive research to anticipate industry trends and emerging risks
  • Oversee the development and distribution of targeted marketing materials (digital and print)
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals, forecasts, and business plans to senior leadership
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, adjusting strategies to ensure goal alignment and sustained success

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $130,000$140,000, plus performance-based commission

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within manufacturing, direct sourcing, or aftermarket sectors
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM tools and Microsoft Office
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Demonstrated success in creating and executing business growth strategies
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing markets, technologies, and competitive dynamics
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects
