PositionSummary:

The DirectorofIndividualGivingand DevelopmentOperations isa dynamic andresults-oriented leaderwho willplay a crucial role in driving the organization's financial sustainability and operational excellence. This position requires a unique blend of fundraising expertise, strategic thinking, process management skills, and exceptional relationship managementabilities.Theideal candidatewill bea highly effective communicator with a proven track recordin project management,cultivationofrelationshipsandmanagingdevelopmentoperations.Inthisrole,thedirectorwilldevelop, implement and oversee a comprehensive fundraising plan with the goal of expanding philanthropic support for the organization. This includes identifying and strengthening relationships with community stakeholders, actively pursuing and managing corporate and individual donors,fostering strong donor andsponsor relationships, and seeking, applying for and managing grant funding.isresponsible forleading, designing, and implementing a donor-centric strategy to increase annual and multi-year revenue fromcorporate, foundation and governmentprincipally through grants & endowments.Additionally,thispositioninvolvesplanningandexecutingour client'scultivationandfundraising events. Requirements

Thetopcharacteristics/qualitiesSettlement

  • Prior experience in creating and executing an annual giving campaign, major gifts strategies, planned giving (bequests,annuities)andaspectrumoffundraisingeventplanningandexecutionatanon-profitinstitution.
  • Demonstratedhistoryofsuccessfulcampaignprojectmanagement.
  • Excellentconstituentrelationsexperience,includingvolunteerandalumniengagement.
  • Exceptionalmanagementskillsthatbuildownershipandcoalescetheteamaroundacultureofjoyfulandspiritedfundraising.
  • Strongmarketing,writing,proposal,andpresentationskillsthatarecriticaltothissuccessfulcommunicator'srole.

DevelopmentOperations

  • Strategy: DevelopandimplementcomprehensiveDevelopmentoperationplansthatalignwiththe organization's strategic goals, ensuring efficient and effective resource allocation.
  • ProcessOptimization: Continuouslyanalyzeandimproverelationshipmanagementprocesses,leveragingtechnology and best practices to enhance workflow efficiency and productivity.
  • ProjectManagement: Leadandoverseethesuccessfulplanning,execution,andcompletionofvariousprojects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • FinancialManagement: ManagebudgetrelatedtoFundDevelopmentprocessesensuringaccuratefinancial reporting, compliance with regulations, and sound financial decision-making.
  • DataAnalysis&Reporting: Utilizedata-driveninsightstoinformstrategicdecisions,trackkeyperformance indicators, and evaluate the effectiveness of Fund Development initiatives.
  • Leadership: PartnerswithExecutiveteamtobuildandgrowandmanageapipeline,fosteringacollaborative, positive, and results-oriented culture.

Fundraising

  • IndividualGivingStrategy: Developandexecuteacomprehensiveindividualgivingstrategyfocusedonbuilding and cultivating long-term relationships with donors.
  • DonorRelationshipManagement: Serveastheprimaryrelationshipmanagerforaportfolioofmajordonors, cultivating strong relationships through personalized communication and tailored engagement strategies.
  • DonorStewardship: Ensureexceptionaldonorstewardshipthroughconsistentcommunication,timelyacknowledgements, and meaningful impact reporting.
  • FundraisingEvents: contributetotheplanningandexecutionoffundraisingeventsthatengagedonors,raise awareness, and generate revenue.
