Direct Support Professional

$1,800 Sign-on bonus payable over the first 6 months of employment!

MSS is hiring Direct Support Professionals who are passionate about building community and making a real difference. In this role, you will support individuals with complex behavioral needs by providing consistent, person-centered care both in the center and in the community.

• As part of our team, you will implement individualized behavior support strategies, assist with transitions between activities, and environments, and help create structured, predictable routines for people in the program.
• You will use visual tools like picture schedules and other alternative communication methods to promote understanding and support independence.
• MSS provides training and ongoing support to ensure you feel confident and equipped in your role.
• This position is full time, Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm

Requirements

All MSS employees must pass a Department of Human Services Background check as well as a criminal background check. Employees must have a clean driving record. Staff who drive for MSS will receive extensive driver training and support to feel confident in those responsibilities.

Benefits

• $1,800 sign on bonus paid over your first six months.

• Competitive pay, benefits, and bonuses. This job pays $19.00-$19.50 per hour to start, with regular raises. Wage rates are based on related experience in the field.
