In this role, you'll provide critical nutritional care to support recovery and wellness in diverse patient populations. Your work will directly impact patient outcomes, ensuring food service safety and compliance while promoting patient-centered dietary practices.

• Perform nutritional assessments and create individualized dietary-care plans
• Collaborate with medical teams to align nutrition with treatment goals
• Monitor food service operations for quality and compliance
• Educate patients and staff on nutrition, special diets, and healthy food preparation
• Supervise dietary staff and manage meal preparation and service
• Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, plans, and patient progress
• Lead nutrition-focused training and update educational resources
• Contribute to hospital-wide quality assurance and nutrition policies

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited program
• Licensure: Registered Dietitian (RD) preferred via the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics; Indiana state dietitian certification required
• Experience: 1+ years in clinical or hospital settings preferred
• Technical Skills:
• Nutritional assessments and individualized diet plan development
• Menu planning and food safety compliance
• Quality assurance in dietary service operations
• Soft Skills:
• Strong communication for patient counseling and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Problem-solving, adaptability, and leadership
