We are looking for an Experienced Design Manager to join our team and lead the development of state-of-the-art machinery and solutions that power industries.

Position Overview:

As the Design Manager, you will oversee and guide the design, development, and optimization of standard and custom built machines and related automation in the field of Resistance Welding ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of precision, efficiency, and performance. You will play a critical role in driving innovation, improving manufacturing processes, and leading a talented design team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of engineers and designers in the creation of Resistance Welding machines and components.
• Develop and review new concepts & designs of machines, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Planning, Production, Sales and Quality Assurance) to ensure seamless product development from concept to implementation.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost analysis, and risk assessments to ensure designs are cost-effective and efficient.
• Oversee the prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting of machine tool systems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven team environment.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies in machine tool design and implement best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• Min 15 years of experience in machine tool design and manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proficiency in 3D Modeling and CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar tools).
• Extensive knowledge of machine tool operation, automation, and manufacturing processes.
• Proven track record of successfully leading design projects from concept to completion.
• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and team management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
