About Us:
PacSci, headquartered in Chandler, Arizona, is a leading explosives manufacturer. We are seeking a dynamic Design Engineering Intern to join our team in
Hollister, CA . In collaboration with PacSci leadership and our site engineering teams, this role will play a pivotal part in supporting programs and processes to drive business excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Design Engineers in completing sustainment engineering milestones such as failure analysis and simulations
Actively participate in Group Design Reviews.
Work within our Configuration Management System to manage program documentation
Participate in project management
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Perform data reporting and analysis, encompassing qualitative and quantitative aspects, across various projects.
Basic Qualifications:
Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Solidworks, Data Analysis tools and other relevant business/engineering software.
Excellent organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Confident and effective communication with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Strong prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks and support overarching program objectives.
Willingness to engage in hands-on engineering and development activities.
Exceptional interpersonal skills.

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 41,600.00 - 83,200.00
