Design Engineer

BKF is looking for a Design Engineer for our Pleasanton office!

We are seeking a passionate and curious Design Engineer with exceptional technical skills and a genuine interest in transportation civil engineering to join us as we expand across divisions and create unlimited opportunities!

As a Design Engineer on the Transportation team at BKF, you'll collaborate with experienced professionals on a diverse range of projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Geometric calculations and plotting (cross-sections, profiles, etc.)
• Routine hydraulics calculations
• Site grading calculations and plotting
• Computer and CAD systems usage
• Research/data collection from public agencies

Requirements

• 0 - 3 years of experience in site development, and design of residential and/or commercial subdivisions, utility systems, and roadways
• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET Accredited Curriculum or equivalent required
• EIT or FE certification is preferred
• Experience withAutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus

Benefits

• Salary range for this position is $80,000 - $101,500 annualized depending upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location. This is an hourly position paid biweekly.
