About the Role: As a Dental Assistant, you will be an integral part of our dental team, assisting in various clinical and administrative tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient operation. Your compassionate approach and strong work ethic will contribute to the comfort and well-being of our patients. This role requires an enthusiastic team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Assist dentists during procedures and treatments, ensuring patients are comfortable and informed
- Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment
- Take and develop dental X-rays, maintaining high standards for patient safety
- Document patient information and treatment plans accurately in electronic health records
- Provide oral hygiene instructions and educate patients on post-operative care
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked dental office at all times
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications:
- Dental Assistant certification or equivalent experience
- Prior dental assisting experience preferred
- Coronal polishing certificate a plus.
- Ability to take X-raysX-ray certification is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered attitude
- Attention to detail and a high level of organizational skills
Benefits
- Full Time Opportunity - Minimum 4 days a week, Saturdays required.
- Monday, 10 am to 6 pm
- Tuesday, 10 am to 6 pm
- Wednesday, 7 am to 2 pm
- Thursday, 7 am to 2 pm
- Saturday, 8 am to 2 pm (3 Saturdays a month)
