AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of DCA Engineering Lead
This role will be responsible for analyzing costs related to manufacturing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and providing insights to help our design engineers include cost in their design decision.
Your Impact
Lead a team of 3 DCA engineers
Ensuring we create the most cost-effective designs for our products
Perform should-cost modelling to identify product cost and possible design modifications for cost reductions
Analyze cost buckets (Material, Scrap rate, Labor, Setup, Overhead, SG&A Cost etc) ? and map manufacturing processes
Manage relationships with a cross-functional and international team of people located in South America, North America and Europe
Your Experience and Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering
10+ years of work experience in Automotive/ Off-Highway/ Construction/ Agriculture industry or with a Supplier providing commodities to these industries (Weld Shop, Foundry, Machining Shop, Plastic Molding Company)
5+ years of experience in Apriori and windchill (or other related tools)
Experience in leading a small team Should costing and process mapping expertise in commodities Metal Fabrication and Castings
Multi-tasking individual with effective project management skills
