Private Client Staff Attorney (DC or Chicago)

Loeb & Loeb LLP is seeking a staff attorney with contract drafting experience to join our Private Client Practice ?preferably in our Washington, DC or Chicago office.

Job Description:

Our well-established law firm is seeking a dedicated and skilled staff attorney to join our Private Client Group, focused on advising high net worth individuals and families. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with tax law and experience drafting and negotiating contracts within the context of charitable gifting, including gift agreements, gift recommendation letters, contracts with service providers and related transactional matters, and be able to support our attorneys in managing caseloads and providing exceptional legal services to our clients.

Candidates should have a particular interest in charitable gift planning and the laws governing nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations. Ideal candidates will have gained this experience from private practice or the nonprofit sector. Successful candidates will have excellent drafting, writing and analytical skills, accurate and strong attention to detail, high level of organization, strong verbal and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Admission to the applicable state bar is required.
