Database Administrator (DBA)

A professional Database Administrator (DBA) will keep the database up and running smoothly 24/7. The goal is to provide a seamless flow of information throughout the company, considering both backend data structure and frontend accessibility for end-users.

• Perform installation, configuration and up-gradation of Database on all environment
• Manage database objects like tablespace, user, table, Index, roles, privileges, profiles, DB Links, materialized views, partitioning, synonyms, sequences, views and indexes and other database objects etc
• Drive performance & tuning, monitoring the performance using tools
• Position requires proficiency in Backup and Recovery, Database Administration and Create physical/logical standby database and.
• To extend the required technical support for all issues related to production Database(s) and also during the product development, testing and release phases.
• Review and improve the Oracle queries as required by the business
• Define the required Oracle patch level (based on Oracle support and our Company requirement)
• Experience and hands-on related to Database security.
• Operating system knowledge: Windows, CentOS, and Red Hat/Oracle Linux
• Preferably an Oracle and MSSQL Certified Database Administrator
• Perform the RMAN Backups and recoveries based on the requests/ on periodically

• Skill on Oracle, MSSQL DB's with good experience
• Experience in Database Upgradation, Installation & Migration
• Experience in Oracle and MSSQL Performance tuning
• Troubleshooting, analytical, problem- solving, and conceptual skills
• Knowledge of RAC, Experience on RMAN, Data Guard and MSSQL and Good understanding of various patch level compatibilities with database releases
