Database Administrator (Contingent)

Kollabio is on the lookout for a talented and experienced individual who is passionate about ensuring the optimal performance, scalability, and availability of our database systems. In this critical role, you will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities that are essential to the smooth operation of our data infrastructure. Your duties will include not only performing regular backups and conducting essential maintenance, but also implementing high availability configurations to minimize downtime and maximize system reliability. We are seeking someone who can proactively monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and develop strategies for continuous improvement to enhance system efficiency and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing problems to recognize and address any concerns
• Establish comprehensive specifications for requirements and convey them to the development team.
• Support the evaluation of solutions to confirm they align with business requirements.
• Provide ongoing support to stakeholders and ensure that solutions are effectively implemented.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to enhance our consulting services.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional experience working as a Database Administrator.
• Bachelor's in information technology, or a related field.
• Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Database Administrator Associate or equivalent
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with tools SQL Server, SSMS, PowerShell, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps
• Authorized to work in U.S
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build relationships with stakeholders.

• Experience in process mapping and modeling techniques.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.

Note: This role is contingent upon contract award.
