We are looking for a Data Scientist with a strong analytical foundation and experience working with large, complex data sets to drive insights and build high-impact risk and investment metrics. You'll work closely with financial analysts, engineers, and product managers to develop models, tools, and dashboards that power strategic decision-making and asset evaluation.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with analysts and engineers to analyze large-scale financial data and derive actionable, investment-relevant metrics.
- Apply statistical modeling, simulation, and data science techniques to uncover patterns, generate insights, and shape data-driven business questions.
- Design and implement robust risk factor models using advanced statistical and programming methods.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of models to ensure reliability in identifying and managing risk factors.
- Develop customer-facing metrics, dashboards, and data visualizations to support key business decisions.
- Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, and research teams to continuously improve the data analytics platform and ensure alignment with business goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative fieldor equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis and developing data-driven metrics.
- Proven experience interpreting complex data, drawing insights, and communicating results effectively to stakeholders.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with SQL and writing advanced queries.
- 2+ years of scripting and data manipulation using Python.
- Eagerness to explore and adopt new technologies to address real-world problems with creativity and autonomy.
- Strong business acumen, communication skills, and a self-driven, problem-solving mindset.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python is a must.
- Experience with tools such as Airflow, Google BigQuery, and ClickHouse is a strong plus.
