Data Scientist

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

Second level professional applications development position.

Significant experience in the field, and works independently of their products and projects.

Applies and uses in-depth knowledge of subject matter.

Requires the capacity to understand specific client needs or technical requirements in order to apply well-developed skills or knowledge.

Liaises with client to understand system requirements and existing business process.

Typically codes, tests, debugs and implements software applications.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge in the specific area.

Ability to execute highly complex or specialised work.

Knowledge acquired from several years of experience or specialist training in particular area.

Works independently, applies standards yet adapts precedent and may make departures from established processes to resolve problems.

Responsible for the development of applications (development may be in software, desktop technology, web technology, messaging, mainframe, etc.).

Education

Education Level : Associates Degree (? 13 years)

Experience/Background

Experience : Minimum 1 year
