Cyber Security Specialist

Our client in India, a leading professional services firm, aims to offer exceptional Cyber Security solutions to safeguard and enhance the integrity of clients' data and infrastructure. Our Cyber Security Specialists are key players in implementing strategies to protect sensitive information and ensure regulatory compliance across diverse sectors.

This role involves designing, implementing, and monitoring security measures, helping clients mitigate risks and respond to incidents effectively. You will be part of a dynamic team that embraces innovative approaches to enhance organizational security posture.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments and vulnerability analyses of client systems and networks.
• Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and best practices based on industry standards.
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and investigate security breaches.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design security architecture aimed at securing sensitive data.
• Provide incident response support, including forensic investigation and resolution of security incidents.
• Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities through continuous research and education.
• Educate employees on information security best practices to promote a culture of security awareness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cyber security, risk management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint security solutions.
• Experience with security compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar are highly desirable.
• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and security-related tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Work Environment:

• Full-time position with Monday to Friday work hours.
• Location: Bangalore (Hybrid work model available).
