Crisis Worker

As a Crisis Worker at Milestone LLC, you will play a critical role in providing crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute mental health and substance abuse dysfunctions. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, providing brief treatment, and offering stabilization services to clients in crisis. Additionally, you will collaborate with clients and their families to coordinate therapeutic schedules and refer them to appropriate community resources.

In this role, you will be expected to maintain regular contact with referral sources, program managers, and clinical supervisors to provide updates on the status of referrals and ensure coordinated care. It is essential to maintain a client-centered approach and uphold the dignity of clients while assisting them in developing supportive relationships.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a mental health-related field
• Experience in crisis intervention or related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of community resources and referral processes
• Ability to work with clients in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
