Responsibilities and practice

The Birmingham office of Dentons Sirote is seeking a Corporate & Securities Attorney with excellent academic credentials and 5-10 years of experience to join our growing team. The person hired for this position will work closely with our attorneys and staff to assume such responsibilities as:

• Reviewing/drafting/preparing/negotiating various corporate and securities documents, including private placement offering documents, limited liability company agreements and fund documents
• Contributing to the coordination and execution of successful corporate transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, merger agreements, license agreements, and nondisclosure agreements
• Supporting the corporate and securities practice group by performing general research, analysis and writing
• Contributing to a broad range of regulatory matters, including securities, tax, aviation, banking, and communications

Position requirements

Personal skills/attributes

• Strong oral and written communication skills required
• Ability to demonstrate excellent customer/client facing skills
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills required

Technical skills

• Strong legal research skills required
• Exposure to aspects of some regulatory law preferred
• 5-10 years of legal experience

Other requirements

• Must be a current member of the Alabama state bar, or eligible for membership
