Overview:

As part of a small and dedicated team, you will support United Grinding North America from our corporate headquarters in Miamisburg, Ohio on a wide range of legal and compliance matters in a highly international context. You will work closely with various departments in cross-functional teams and assume responsibility of the legal work-stream in negotiations, documentation and execution of contracts.
Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will be the following:

  • Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and documenting commercial contracts, mainly related to sourcing activities and the manufacture, supply and distribution of our products

  • Advising the business on all legal matters and developing pragmatic solutions to legal issues for all areas of the business

  • Handling of disputes, litigation and investigations and overseeing legal defense actions in disputes with suppliers and customers

  • Managing external lawyers as required

  • Handling corporate law and corporate secretary matters

Qualifications:
  • Your Qualifications

    • Juris Doctorate plus 1-4 years post-qualification experience in a law firm or in the legal department of a multinational company
    • Solid experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
    • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
    • Willingness to travel
