Corporate Transactions Attorney Corporate Transactions Attorney Location: Ann Arbor, MI Barnes & Thornburg LLP is seeking a highly motivated and skilled attorney with 3+ years of experience in corporate transactions to join our team in Ann Arbor. Job Description: The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong background in complex M&A and/or venture transactions. Experience with emerging companies, particularly in early-stage and incubator environments, is preferred. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working directly with clients, supervising the work of others, and adept at handling a high volume of complex matters in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Qualifications: Experience providing legal counsel to clients on a variety of corporate and/or venture matters, including but not limited to corporate governance, general business transactions, and other complex commercial transactions. Experience advising clients on regulatory compliance, drafting and negotiating contracts, and negotiating technology transactions and license agreements. Demonstrated commitment to being responsive to clients and colleagues, with experience providing practical, business-oriented legal advice, managing and prioritizing multiple client matters, and delivering high-quality legal services efficiently. Skilled in communicating directly with partners across the firm and with clients, fostering a true client-service mindset. Drive to mentor, supervise, and provide guidance to junior associates, fostering their professional development and ensuring the effective execution of client matters in a team-oriented environment. Outstanding drafting, analytical, and legal research capabilities. Strong academic credentials. Highly motivated to be part of an active national corporate practice, demonstrating initiative, an ability to assume direct responsibility for client matters, and strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team members and clients.
