Contract Maintenance Technician (1st shift)

Manpower Engineering is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for our Louisville, Kentucky client.

M-F days, 40 hours (flexible hours).

Option for 4- or 5-day work schedule.

Initially, a shorter-term need but if this individual ?comes in strong? and shows an outstanding work ethic and a strong skilled trades knowledge, company likely to move forward with hiring permanently.

Overview of job duties:

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician that has general mechanical working knowledge, and that has expertise in plumbing/pipefitting. air lines/pneumatics, conveyors, and steam valves.

Support maintenance team when a line stops working to troubleshoot and correct any problems quickly using mechanical skills.

Follow issued work to ensure timely maintenance, repair and installation of equipment, tools and utility systems to minimize manufacturing downtime

Repair or maintain the basic condition of production equipment including inspection, assembly, disassembly, and replacement as necessary.
