The chocolate making department is at the heart of the factory, producing liquid chocolate to send to the rest of the factory for moulding into the classic Cadbury products.

You will play an important role in the chocolate making department, providing process support to shift teams and performing daily activities that drive our continuous improvement (CI) processes. You will help with data collection and analysis while engaging with manufacturing excellence frameworks to help achieve departmental KPIs.

How you will contribute

You will:

Provide training on CI tools and techniques in order to maximise engagement of shift teams and support functions

Utilise detailed data gathering systems to understand areas of loss and implement focussed improvement projects to drive output

Facilitate root-cause analysis to address losses and improve departmental performance

Develop a detailed understanding of chocolate manufacturing methods and support operational teams

Support safety and quality standards across the area to ensure compliance to the standards

Lead focussed sessions to encourage area ownership while establishing new work standards to sustain improvement

What you will bring

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:

CI and high-performance work systems experience

Strong facilitation and communication skills to support team discussions on CI activities

Application of lean and/or TPM tools in a factory or operations environment

Understanding of industrial processes and applications in manufacturing

Ability to manipulate and validate data in manual and automated systems

Mastery of Excel and other data analytics tools

Organized and disciplined to support and educate key stakeholders on the process

Logical and structured thinking to extract insights from data
