GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY:

This position plays a key role in aligning this facility with PEAK (Continuous Improvement) initiatives. This position will support and lead PEAK and Productivity teams, projects, and initiatives to implement and increase a culture of continuous improvement. The PEAK Engineer will act as a change agent for driving continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work as a part of the PEAK team to drive Continuous Improvement initiatives in all PACS and all phases

Lead and implement continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.

Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements.

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of continuous improvement initiatives and drive a data driven approach to decision-making

Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools to ensure process stability and capability.

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve production issues.

Train and coach team members on continuous improvement techniques and best practices.

Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute a roadmap for continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

Participate in facilitation and execution Value Stream Maps & Kaizen Events through all stages

Develop and maintain documentation for process improvements and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Good understanding of troubleshooting training/critical thinking

Excellent presentation and communication skills both written and verbal.

Teamwork and project management skills.

Strategic thinking, innovation and problem solving.

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, reach, and grasp for varying periods of time during working hours.

Knowledge of MS Office software, advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a continuous improvement, lean, operational excellence, or manufacturing roles.

Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) is preferred.
