Job Description


Cohen Seglias has an opening in our Philadelphia office for a construction litigation associate. Candidates must have six plus years of construction or commercial litigation background, strong academic credentials (preferably law review), and strong legal research and writing skills. Candidates must be licensed in Pennsylvania, and preferably at least one other jurisdiction, with a demonstrated proficiency in the state and federal civil procedures. The attorney will be required to analyze facts and perform legal research and writing pertaining to questions of law arising from private and public construction matters. Typical duties will include the drafting of pleadings and motion practice (on both state and federal venues), as well as bid protests and claims before various boards and agencies. This position also requires providing litigation assistance to trial counsel.
