Clark Hill PLC is seeking a is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual for the role of Conflicts Attorney to join either the Atlanta, Dallas, Detroit, or Pittsburgh office. The Conflicts Attorney works closely with attorneys and team members of the Conflicts and New Business Intake Department to identify possible ethical and business-related conflicts of interest; is responsible for (i) the accurate and timely analysis of new business or lateral hiring conflicts search results; (ii) the substantive review of incoming File Opening Requests; (iii) the analysis and resolution of any conflicts related to new business or lateral hiring due diligence; (iv) liaising with firm lawyers; and (v) the thorough resolution of identified conflict issues. This position requires a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Rules of Professional Conduct relating to conflicts of interest. Candidates must have strong critical thinking skills, sound judgment and solid decision-making skills and must be able to research and seek out potential issues related to bringing on new business and new employees to the firm. Candidates must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A track record of excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing the highest quality client service are strongly preferred.JD is essential, but bar licensure is not required. At least two years of experience required. Once training is completed, this position will be hybrid.
