Concessions Helper

This is considered a part-time, hourly, non-benefits eligible position. The rate for the position is $16.38 per hour.

Core Responsibilities:

• Accurately process food and beverage sales using cash registers, scanners, or wireless equipment.

• Provide exceptional customer service throughout our campus locations

• Assists in food production work including food prep and equipment set-up. This will require proper use of kitchen equipment.

• Ensure the highest standards in sanitary FOH procedures, condiment, coffee stations, countertops, floors and trash storage are clean and always maintained.

• Always Cleaning work areas, including counters, floors, dishes, and related equipment and ensures they are in proper sanitary condition.

• Observe proper food storage and handling procedures to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.

• Ensure that food and beverages are properly and safely served. Some locations will require Serve safe certification and a VT DLC license?

Requirements

Position Prerequisites:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Knowledge of point of sale and cash handling helpful

• Works cooperatively with others and accepts direction from supervisors with effective time management skills

• Have good communication skills; and the ability to follow instructions and procedures and participate in a team environment.

• No previous experience necessary, although cash handling training helpful
