Job Summary:

As a Software Engineer/Scientist specializing in Computational Electrodynamics, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and optimizing simulation software using advanced numerical methods, such as Finite Element Method (FEM) and Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD). This position requires a deep understanding of computational electromagnetics, excellent C++ programming skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative research environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scientific computing, numerical simulation, and electromagnetic theory and computation.

What You Will Do:

• Develop computational electrodynamics simulation using C++
• Design and implement algorithms to solve complex computational electrodynamics problems.
• Work closely with scientists and engineers to integrate computational tools into real-world applications.
• Continuously improve the efficiency and scalability of existing codebases.
• Contribute to research publications, technical documentation, and presentations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive innovation in computational electromagnetics.

Requirements

• Degrees in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in C++ programming, with experience in software development for scientific applications.
• Experience with numerical methods, such as Finite Element Method (FEM)
• Strong understanding of electromagnetics and computational physics.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and optimize complex algorithms for large-scale simulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with parallel computing and high-performance computing (HPC).
• Familiarity with scientific visualization tools and libraries.
• Knowledge of additional simulation techniques such as Boundary Element Method (BEM) or Method of Moments (MoM).
