Commercial Litigation Attorney

Cozen O?Connor is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney to join the firm?s Fort Lauderdale or Miami office as a Department Attorney. Ideal candidates will have at least three years of law firm experience litigating matters involving catastrophic casualty claims, premises liability, dram shop, commercial and residential construction and property disputes, transportation & logistics, product liability, insurance, and other complex torts and business disputes. Experience defending individual, insurance, and corporate clients is preferred. Deposition experience a plus. Excellent written and oral advocacy skills and excellent academic credentials are required. Must be able to work independently and handle litigation matters from responding to the complaint through pre-trial conferences with the autonomy to run litigation matters with partner oversight. This is a non-partnership track position offering the opportunity to work on sophisticated litigation matters and a reduced-hours schedule.
