College Admissions Keynote Speaker

FLEX is seeking experienced professionals with a deep understanding of U.S. college admissions, specifically those with direct experience serving on an admissions committee at a top 50 U.S. college or university. The ideal candidate must have strong presentation skills, as well as experience evaluating applications and voting on admission decisions. Please note: consultants will not be meeting directly with students.

What You'll Do:

• Present at events 1-2+ times per quarter on topics such as academic planning, extracurricular strategies, standardized testing, and admissions best practices.
• Provide general, yet actionable, strategies to help students maximize their chances of admission to top-tier colleges.
• Utilize your unique insights from an admissions committee to offer authoritative guidance to students and their families.

Where You'll Do It:

• FLEX Los Altos or Northern California area

Important: Candidates without admissions committee experience will not be considered and will be rejected.

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• Mandatory: Direct experience serving on an admissions committee at a top 50 U.S. college or university, with the responsibility of voting on student admissions decisions.
• Highly knowledgeable about college admissions for private schools, UCs, etc., preferably for UC schools.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Open to travel and available to present at 1-2+ events per quarter (in-person and online)

Compensation

• Consultants will be compensated at a flat per event rate with travel/expense reimbursement.
• $500 - $800 per day
