Our client is seeking a Collections Specialist to join their team. As a Collections Specialist, you will be part of the Accounts Receivable department supporting the finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Collections Specialist
Location: Winston Salem, North Carolina
What's the Job?
Responding to external and internal customer requests via phone and email in a fast-paced, highly complex environment.
Independently collect past due invoices by contacting customers via phone, email, or portal.
Independently reconcile complex accounts and support in resolving customer disputes in a timely manner.
Process daily and/or month-end account reconciliations and cash applications of payments.
Prepare weekly aging reports and prioritize accounts based on overdue status.
What's Needed?
Mandatory experience with SAP and Excel.
Proven experience in collections, particularly in B2B environments.
Strong technical skills and advanced organizational abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to train new team members on daily tasks.
