We are currently seeking a dedicated Collections Manager who will play a pivotal role in our operations as we continue to grow. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the collections process, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring that our financial protocols are followed to maximize revenue while upholding our commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities for Collections Manager:

• Oversee the collections department (11-13 employees) and manage day-to-day operations.
• Develop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize bad debt.
• Train, mentor, and manage collections staff to achieve departmental goals.
• Maintain and analyze collections data to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to facilitate successful repayment.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve the overall customer experience.
• Prepare regular reports on collections performance and present findings to senior management.
• Meet weekly with the senior leadership team to provide an update on the portfolio performance.

Requirements for Collections Manager:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in collections, with managerial experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of collection laws and regulations.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Proficient in using collection software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work some early evening and Saturday work hours.

Work Hours for Collections Manager:

• 5-day work week schedule
• No Sundays
• Average 45 hours a week
• Work most Saturdays 9-6 & a weekday off (usually Tues or Wed)
• Monday - Thursday 9-6, Friday 9-7
