Job Description

Long Island Centers for Speech is looking for a collections assistant to support our collections department with the recovery of outstanding payments.

This is a full time position based in our Stony Brook office.

Requirements

Communicate directly with patients regarding their financial responsibility for services received from Long Island Centers For Speech.
Document all calls timely and accurately.
Establish payment arrangements per company policy.
Manage both outstanding insurance and self-pay accounts.
Status for management of accounts.
Assist with other billing/collection duties, as needed.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
