Our client is seeking a CNC Programmer to join their team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be part of the production department supporting skilled machinists. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for precision engineering which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: CNC Programmer
Location: Westminster, MD
What's the Job?
Programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines including mills and lathes.
Utilizing an EDM machine (electrical discharge machine) for specific tasks.
Ensuring the quality and precision of machined parts through careful monitoring and adjustments.
Collaborating with team members to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with industry standards.
What's Needed?
Proven experience in CNC programming and machine setup.
Strong understanding of machining processes and tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Familiarity with quality control standards and practices.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
