Position: CNC Mill Set-up Operator

Reports to: Production Supervisor

General Job Description:

Sets up and may operate horizontal and vertical CNC mills. Requires only general supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:

Job knowledge through suitable education or prior work experience
Able to read blueprints
4th axis experience
Programming a must
Know correct speeds and feeds, tooling, design and manufacture of fixtures

Specific Duties:

Set up horizontal & vertical CNC mills
Make proper set-up to give rigidity to work piece
Work with materials such as cast iron, steel, bronze, brass and other non-ferrous materials
Hold tolerances of .003 inch
