The Clinical Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing the clinical staff and ensuring the highest standards of care. Collaborating closely with the CEO, physicians, and the Utilization Review Department, you will shape the clinical operations, drive performance improvement, and provide 24-hour management of the clinical functions within our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support clinical staff, ensuring effective therapy sessions and top-quality documentation.
  • Coordinate with program administration and the Utilization Review Department for seamless service delivery.
  • Lead professional development initiatives, enhancing staff skills in individual and group therapy, diagnosis, and documentation.
  • Monitor staff morale and cultivate a positive, cohesive team environment.
  • Participate in recruitment, evaluation, and performance reviews of clinical staff.
  • Ensure adherence to all clinical policies, emergency procedures, and performance improvement plans.
  • Collaborate with the CEO to arrange clinical coverage and maintain efficient staffing within budget constraints.
  • Deliver direct patient services, including individual and group therapy sessions, as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment while ensuring patient confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.

Requirements

Education: Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or a related health field from an accredited institution.

Experience: At least 2 years of administrative and management experience, including familiarity with Performance Improvement and JCAHO Standards.

Licensure/Certification: LMSW, LMFT, LCSW, or LPC required.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • In-depth understanding of Psychopathology, Diagnostic Assessment, and Chemical Dependency treatment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management and staff.
  • Self-motivated with proven leadership abilities in continuous quality improvement and organizational strategy development.
