Civil/Rail Engineer

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Civil/Rail Engineer to join our Passenger Rail & Transit Group in our Hoboken, NJ office.

Responsibilities

• Become a team member of the New Jersey / New York City Operations and contribute to the growth and capabilities of the Passenger Rail & Transit Group.
• Willing to learn.
• Prepare basic engineering calculations including quality calculations.
• Review multi-disciplined engineering plans and specifications, develop materials lists and schedules, facilitate logistics to support major construction project.

Requirements

• BS in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering required.
• Five to fifteen years relevant experience.
• Experience in civil engineering and plan production. Rail engineering preferred.
• PE preferred.
• AutoCAD and Microstation experience is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Software (Excel and Word) required.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in cooperative, team environment required.
