Job Description

Direct Counsel is looking for a litigation attorney for an outstanding law firm located in Los Angeles, CA. Ideal candidate will have experience in civil litigation and/or personal injury. This opportunity offers a HIGHLY competitive compensation package with compelling bonus structure.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

Draft pleadings, discovery, memoranda, motions and other legal documents
Handle litigation matters from inception through trial, including taking depositions, attending mediations and settlement negotiations
Make independent decisions and advising clients on pre-litigation and litigation matters
Work with experts
Legal research
Other projects, as assigned

Qualifications:

Motivated with the desire to achieve top level results
The ability to work well with a team as well as work well independently

Required Experience for the position:

Must have a minimum of 2 plus years of solid experience in litigation in State courts

Benefits

Compensation:

$150,000 to $300,000 DOE.Competitive compensation package with full benefits and bonus
