Direct Counsel is looking for a litigation attorney for an outstanding law firm located in Los Angeles, CA. Ideal candidate will have experience in civil litigation and/or personal injury. This opportunity offers a HIGHLY competitive compensation package with compelling bonus structure.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Draft pleadings, discovery, memoranda, motions and other legal documents
- Handle litigation matters from inception through trial, including taking depositions, attending mediations and settlement negotiations
- Make independent decisions and advising clients on pre-litigation and litigation matters
- Work with experts
- Legal research
- Other projects, as assigned
Qualifications:
- Motivated with the desire to achieve top level results
- The ability to work well with a team as well as work well independently
Required Experience for the position:
- Must have a minimum of 2 plus years of solid experience in litigation in State courts
Benefits
Compensation:
- $150,000 to $300,000 DOE.Competitive compensation package with full benefits and bonus
