Civil Engineering Intern

Anderson Engineering of MN, LLC located in Plymouth, is a multi-discipline consultant specializing in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Environmental Services. Our firm serves the federal, commercial and residential sectors, land developers, other design firms, and private landowners.

• Receive hands-on experience, technical and consulting training and mentorship opportunities whole working within a positive team-oriented work environment.
• Assist engineering design staff with all aspects of site design including site layout/planning, storm water management, grading and drainage, site utilities.
• Assist engineering design staff with preparation of project specifications, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, project schedules, and other duties as directed by the Project Manager.
• Work is anticipated to be primarily in office, with occasional construction observation opportunities.
• There may be opportunity to occasionally work within one of our other service areas (Survey / Landscape Architecture) if schedules dictate

Requirements

• Working toward a B.S. in Civil Engineering. Prior work experience in a collaborative/team environment is desired.
• Ability to communicate professionally in written and verbal forms.
• Ability to apply technical skills to meet project demands and solve problems for our client
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of performing duties with limited supervision to meet deadlines.
