As a Civil Engineer at JBPro, you will be integral to our civil engineering projects, focusing on design, permitting, and project coordination. Working within an engineering team alongside a Design Engineer and Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in project execution. Depending on project needs, you will report to either the Design Engineer or Project Manager, fostering seamless collaboration and delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.

WhatYou'llDo:
- Provide comprehensive engineering design support to the Design Engineer, encompassing utilities, grading, drainage, detailed notes, specifications, and construction drawings.
- Conduct thorough stormwater calculations and modeling for design purposes.
- Activelyparticipatein project coordinationmeetings,as necessary.
- Research files, documents, drawings, surveys, permits, etc.
- Use AutoCAD drafting software for projects.
- Execute administrative tasks for projects, including copying, printing, scanning, posting signs, and managing deliveries.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, technicians, and interns assigned to the project.
- Adhereto project deadlines, ensuringtimelyproject completion.
- Facilitate agency coordination andmaintainclear communication.
- Prepare applications, forms, fees, and other documents forprojectsubmittals.
- Engage in client coordination under the guidance of the Design Engineer or Project Manager, including the organization and distribution of drawings and files.
- Coordinate with sub-consultants and related companies,(e.g., geotechnical, architecture, landscape architecture, lighting) involved in JBPro projects as directed.
- Coordinate efforts with JBPro's surveying department on joint surveying and engineering projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Ideal for candidates with0-3 years of experience.
- Preferred: EI Certificatedemonstratingcommitment to professional growth.
- Proficiencyin CAD softwarerequired, with preference for AutoCADexpertise.
