CFO - Retained

Our client is seeking a CFO to join their team. This is a family owned, private company with a very impressive tenure and culture.

Top Items Needed:

10+ years accounting experience

3 + years in Construction or Project-based accounting

Degree in Accounting

Strong Excel skills

Deep understanding of Construction Cost Accounting

Organizational and time management skills

Adaptability and flexibility

Duties:

Manage budgets, costs, and profitability for construction projects

Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable

Manage fixed assets including tax/book depreciation

Analyze cost variances and forecast profitability

Communicating with project managers on job-related topics

Prepare monthly financial reports

Prepare quarterly consolidated financial reports including current-year pro-forma

Collaborate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely completion of all audit requirements

Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure proper documentation for all accounting activities

Maintain compliance with various tax agencies in the US and Canada

Reconcile quarterly and annual payroll data and file payroll tax reports

Manage reciprocal union Agreements
