Job Description

O'Hagan Meyer, a fast-growing national law firm with 340+ attorneys across 26 offices, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our leadership team. As we continue to expand our footprint and elevate our client service, we're looking for a financial executive who understands the nuances of law firm operations and can drive strategic, data-driven decisions across the enterprise. This position would be based out of our Chicago, IL office. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing the firm's financial health, developing long-term financial strategies, and managing all aspects of the firm's accounting, budgeting, reporting, and financial planning functions. Reporting directly to the Managing Partners, the CFO will serve as a strategic advisor and business partner, working closely with firm leadership, practice group leaders, and office administrators.

Requirements

10+ years of senior financial leadership experience, ideally in a law firm or professional services environment
CPA or MBA preferred
Strong knowledge of law firm billing systems (e.g., Aderant, Elite, or similar)
Proven leadership and people management skills
Strategic mindset with a detail-oriented and hands-on approach
Excellent communication and presentation skills
High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
