Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (PRN)

Join our wonderful team at AdvisaCare as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) ! We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to support our patients in the home health care setting. This PRN position allows for a flexible schedule, making it perfect for someone who values work-life balance while providing meaningful support to those in need.

As a member of our friendly team, you'll work closely with licensed Occupational Therapists to implement treatment plans that help patients regain their independence and enhance their quality of life from the comfort of their homes. Your role will make a real difference!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in delivering quality therapy to patients.
• Engage with patients in therapeutic activities and exercises designed to improve their daily functioning.
• Monitor patient progress and share updates with the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Educate patients and families about care plans, exercises, and strategies for daily living.
• Keep accurate records of patient interactions and treatment outcomes.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all therapy sessions.

Requirements

To join our caring family at AdvisaCare, you need:

• An active Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license in Michigan.
• A friendly and patient-centered approach to care.
• Great communication skills to connect with patients and their families.
• Experience as a COTA is preferred, especially in home health settings, but we welcome new graduates to apply!
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
