We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a skilled nursing facility in Queens, NY . This role focuses on providing essential, hands-on care to residents in a long-term care setting, supporting their comfort and health during day shifts.

• Provide assistance with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Support residents' mobility and transfer needs
• Monitor and report health status changes to nursing staff
• Maintain clean and safe resident environments
• Record and document all care provided
• Collaborate effectively with nurses, therapists, and other team members
• Adhere to all facility protocols and state regulations

Requirements

• Education: Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
• License: Active New York State CNA certification
• Immunizations: Proof of Hepatitis B immunity (required)
• Experience: At least 1 year in long-term care preferred
• Skills:
• Knowledge of ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
• Proficient in monitoring vital signs and infection control
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate and reliable
