Phamily, in collaboration with Northwest Renal in McMinnville, OR, is currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to fill a key position on the Northwest Renal team. This is a great opportunity to work within a respected healthcare organization, providing essential patient support.
Northwest Renal Clinic is the largest nephrology practice in Oregon and is dedicated to serving patients in the greater Northwest area. Northwest Renal Clinic (NWRC)provides exceptional care for patients with kidney disease at nine Oregon offices, seven outreach clinics, and local area hospitals. In addition to office and hospital care, Northwest Renal physicians manage the dialysis treatments of their patients at the dialysis centers.They provide comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care for renal disease, including:
- Consultation for chronic kidney disease (CKD), hypertension treatment, dialysis and more
- Transplantation Consultation
- Vascular Access Management
- Renal Education

Medical Assistant
Receive and direct phone calls
Schedule appointments
Check-out patients, assist with referral processing,
Prepare patients for examination, take vitals, weight, review and update
medication list
Prior Authorizations for medications and procedures
administer injections and medications
Prepare examination rooms
Assist with chart preparation

Requirements
- Medical office: 1 year (Required)
- Experience in nephrology
- High school diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited medical
- Assistance certification program preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to always communicate clearly and effectively with patients and other external parties in a courteous and friendly manner
- Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
- Firm grasp on medical practices, administrative processes, and
- organizational policies
- Knowledge of patient care and examination procedures
- Must be able to always maintain confidentiality
- Medical assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
- Prior use of Epic
- Prior experience with Care or Case Coordination
