About This Role

The Central Finance (CFin) team is looking for an accounting and controlling expert with system implementation experience to lead the transition of many heterogeneous ERPs into our SAP Central Finance application.

The CFin project consists of three phases, data foundation, shared services enablement and consolidation/intercompany.

The data foundation phase for includes applying the common chart of accounts cost centers, profit centers and business partners from legacy ERP's to CFin.

The deployment lead will manage a deployment team, work with the CFin workstream leads and business subject matter experts to following the deployment playbook and manage the integration of each ERP into the CFin environment including testing.

Business benefits the deployment lead will help realize include enabling technology to standardize financial reporting, management reporting, transaction processing, working with Controllers organization to establish a statutory reporting COE and internal audit on continuous monitoring opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute Carrier's vision to simplify its reporting by implementing a common information model, embrace digital tools and simplify its operating environment

Work cross-functionally to deploy the scope and requirements of the program, validate adoption of the global design, identify harmonization requirements and ensure that the deployments are managed on schedule

Report to project team leadership the status of each deployment, deployment risk and mediation plans.

Ensure alignment across businesses, functions and the digital technology team

Partner with testing lead to ensure robust test plans are developed and executed

Provide input to change management and training on user readiness for go-live

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics

10+ years Finance/Accounting experience

3 years of experience implementing SAP systems

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree and/or certification preferred

Experience working with multinational corporate finance function requirements

Ability to think strategically and bring original analysis to bear to resolve complex issues

Ability to think out of the box, manage and drive change across the organization

Experience in project management

Excellent understanding of accounting and finance related business processes

Attention to detail

Ability to implement standardized, global processes

Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written

High energy and positive leader even while working under pressure
