We are embarking on the development and launch of a groundbreaking new product: a perpetual futures trading platform. To drive this initiative, we are seeking a Head of Product to refine the specifications and feature roadmap, manage the development timeline, and serve as the authority and gatekeeper for the product rollout.

The Role
As the Head of Product at Cables Finance, you will take full ownership of the vision, strategy, and delivery of our perpetual futures trading platform, driving its development and ensuring its success in the competitive DeFi landscape. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a roadmap for the perpetual futures trading platform, prioritizing features based on business value, technical feasibility, and user needs.
• Work alongside developers to implement advanced trading features such as new order types, leveraged positions, cross-margin systems, and liquidation engines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and growth, to ensure effective product development, rollout, and execution of a comprehensive go-to-market plan.
• Ensure platform scalability, performance, and compliance with DeFi standards.
• Define and communicate product requirements and user stories, incorporating market research and feedback to guide decisions, and continuously monitor user insights to refine trading features and improve the overall experience.
• Conduct competitive analysis of DeFi perpetual trading platforms like GMX, dYdX, and similar.
• Build strategies to attract liquidity providers and integrate with existing DeFi ecosystems.
• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and ongoing iteration.
• Track key performance metrics and use data-driven insights to optimize post-launch features.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the product development process.

Requirements

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Manager in blockchain, DeFi, or financial technology.
• Strong knowledge of DeFi trading systems, including perpetual futures, leveraged positions, and liquidation processes.
• Familiarity with on-chain trading platforms like GMX, dYdX, or similar.
• Experience designing trading-related features, such as advanced order types, margin mechanics, and scalable trading engines.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and align cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and make trade-offs in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Knowledge of the FX or financial services industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of common design patterns utilized by decentralized exchanges and liquidity pools is a strong plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience.
