Business Analytics Lead (Contingent)

Aretum, a leading government contracting company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analytics Lead to join our team. As the Business Analytics Lead at Aretum, you will play a key role in driving data-driven decision-making and leading the development and implementation of analytical strategies.

• Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and compile relevant data from all branch programs and projects. Use tools and techniques to clean, transform, and organize raw data into usable formats i.e., PowerBI, excel.
• Metric Development: Define key performance indicators (KPI's) and metrics aligned with CISA strategic plan and AOP priorities. Develop and implement measurement frameworks to track and assess performance.
• Dashboard and Reporting: create dashboards and reports that visualize data trends and insights. Communicate findings to branch leads in a clear and understandable manner.
• Data Interpretation: Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and correlations. Provide actionable insights based on data analysis.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor ongoing performance against established metrics. Identify anomalies or deviations from expected performance and investigate root causes.
• Data Quality and Assurance: Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Implement and maintain data quality standards and protocols.
• Tool Proficiency: stay up to date with the latest tools and technologies for data analysis. Proficient in using data visualization tools, statistical analysis tools, and databases i.e., PowerBI, Excel.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs. Work closely with other relevant teams to enhance data capabilities i.e., CB/CX team.
• Problem Solving: Address data-related challenges and solve complex problems. Propose and implement solutions to optimize data workflows.
• Strategic Insights: Provide strategic insights based on data analysis to support decision-making. Contribute to the development of data-driven strategies i.e., from existing measurements. Identify meaningful metrics that can be used for program reviews. Conduct monthly and annual analytic reviews of key data and document findings in an easy-to-read format which highlights the program key successes gained from the measurements and metrics.
• Create and maintain strategic metrics reporting through use of Power BI, Excel, and other products for various CDET programs, including Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM), ICS, IR, ZT, FedVTE, and Skilling Academy
• Collaborate on strategy for improved CDET-wide, branch level data collection, storage, presentation.
• Develop and maintain a series of Power BI dashboards for President's Cup Cybersecurity Competition
• From existing measurements, identify meaningful metrics that can be used for program reviews.
• Present key data and metrics deliverables as needed/when requested.
• Maintain and improve legacy metrics storage and reporting products.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in business analytics or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in data visualization tools and statistical software (e.g., Tableau, R, Python)
• Experience leading and managing a team of analysts
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Ability to obtain/maintain DHS Suitability
