Business Analyst, Storewalk+

RBS Storewalk+ works on eliminating customer frustration points with the buying process on Amazon retail shopping experiences. In particular, (1) Identify, validate & size the impact of friction points in the buying experience leading to drop-off at various stages of the purchase journey, (2) Partner with upstream teams, subject matter experts, vendor managers & account managers to help streamline and standardize areas impacting buying experience

Role of BA is to collaborate with PMs to develop scalable solutions for problem use cases and establish mechanism to monitor the insight generation. You will be set to handle end-to-end deliverables from requirement gathering, figuring out the right tables, translating business problem into SQL codes, QA validations and metric representation/dashboarding.

Key job responsibilities

1. Create, support and continuously improve reports and metrics that support the business operations

2.Convert data into digestible business intelligence and actionable information using tools like

Quicksight/Tableau

3.Shape and deliver key metrics, reports, and indicators by which our business will assess its performance

4.Dive deep into large data sets to answer specific business questions using Excel, SQL and other data

manipulation languages

5.Work directly with business teams to utilize metrics and analysis to determine improvement opportunities

A Business Analyst will use the following tools

SQL (Oracle and Redshift)

Excel Advanced VBA

Tableau/Quicksight

Report scheduling tools

A day in the life

Candidate is expected to have a good SQL and business acumen. Every day goes by requirement gathering , understanding the business problem, gaining vast knowledge on the amazon databases and interfaces, suggesting optimal solution to problem statement, qualify and quantifying the problem statement using insightful data points.

Basic Qualifications

Experience creating complex SQL queries joining multiple datasets, ETL DW concepts

Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI or other BI packages

2+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience

Experience with SQL or ETL

2+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

2+ years in End-End handling of business analysis from requirement gathering to insightful metrics presentation

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Tableau

Experience using very large datasets
